What Are Microgreens

Microgreens: small leaves, fresh possibilities.

Microgreens are young edible plants harvested after their first seed leaves develop, often as the first true leaves appear. Stems and leaves are cut above the growing medium. They bring varied flavours and colours to everyday meals and professional menus.

Why Microgreens

Flavour, colour and variety for your kitchen.

Choose mild, nutty or peppery varieties to complement your dishes. Add microgreens to salads, sandwiches and bowls, or use them to finish a plate. Microgreens contain vitamins and other plant compounds; amounts vary by species and growing conditions. Enjoy them as part of a varied diet. At SEROVA, harvest is coordinated with delivery.

How We Grow

From seed to harvest.

We grow our microgreens in coconut coir and perlite. Watering is automatic, while lighting and temperature are managed during growth. We harvest close to delivery, then wash and pack the greens.
